| The 1st Annual Copper Crest Olympic Triathlon Race will be
hosted and sponsored by Copper Crest at Osceola Lake Resort & Spa located
in Hendersonville, NC The venue is in the beautiful Western North Carolina
area in Historic Hendersonville. The Olympic distance race will be a special
event hosted and sponsored by triatheletes and racers. Therefore, the race
preparation and accommodations will be like no other race you have experienced.
The race registration
fee will include a 5am to 6 am Item race meal buffet or a post race meal.
You may pick which one is best for you and your body. The Copper Crest Race
organizers include none other than the Liz Wendzel who has raced in 100s
of races and is a renowned coach for many elite athletes. Part of registration
includes one free consultation with her. Also part of the race registration
includes a bike tune-up the day before the race. This is by appointment
only and a first-come first serve basis. Space is limited so please call
in advance for your appointment. |

The actual racecourse was developed by the Race Development Team and is
very excited to present a very challenging course, but one you are sure
to remember. The beauty of this area as you run and bike will surely leave
an impression of why they call this area the “Apple of North Carolina”
The summer weather is a cool with no humidity and a little cooler during
the night. Join the fun at the campfire the night before the race and get
to meet other athletes and friends. This is event is one you will mark your
calendar with for years to come. |
